In the role of engineer, the team member will work in a dynamic role a catalyst on an agile team. Specifically, they will work on crafting, building and supporting Client's mission to deliver scalable and creative services. They will work with other engineers, scrum masters, and product owners to understand the customer's needs and to translate that need into a working solution.
Their day to day activities will be comprised of attending meetings with partners to analyze requirements and craft plans. They will also produce working software solutions by using tools provided by Client. Through the product development lifecycle, they will partake in analysis, design, development, quality assurance and finally maintenance. This may require them to be available on-call, depending on the assigned rotation.
Evaluate operational effectiveness of information systems.
Provide succinct summaries of technical information for a variety of audiences.
Collaborate with partners to define problem statement.
Work with team members to define requirements.
Analyze potential solutions and produce documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Design system specifications, standards and produce iterative solutions against long term architectural vision.
Researching tools and software solutions that will amplify the development team's productivity.
Working with team and at times independently, craft a solution that meets the customer's needs.
Update knowledge relevant to field and career progression, through self-directed learning and Client's resources.
All other duties as assigned, within reason.
