As a Cyber Security Analyst, your role on the team will include leveraging your knowledge of

industry best practices, good judgment and problem-solving skills to execute Converse

security operations, cyber risk management as well as deliver on cyber security enhancements. Being on Converse’s front lines of defense, the Cyber Security Analyst is adept at making good decisions under pressure and be able to quickly adapt to common security challenge. This individual also pays attention to detail and is disciplined in documenting process and procedures. The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for triaging requests coming into the team, tracking and managing risk, and supporting the program build-out. This role requires operational excellence, continual process improvement and customer service.

 

What We're Looking For:

· Associates degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience

· Two years of information technology experience with one year in an information

security-related role

· Solid knowledge and understanding of information technology systems and process

  1. Working knowledge of Information Technology and Security fundamentals
  2. Experience with Windows Server/Workstation and Mac OS is required
  3. Proven analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  4. Knowledge of information security principles and practice
  5. Experience in security incident response
  6. The ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
  7. Strong written and oral communication skills
  8. Comfortable with interfacing with other internal or external organizations regarding security policy and standards violations, security controls failure and incident response situations
  9. Ability to balance and prioritize work
  10. Must be trustworthy in keeping sensitive data confidential

 

Additional skills and qualifications preferred:

  1. One or more of the following professional certifications
    • Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP)
    • Cyber Risk Information Security Certification (CRISC)
    • Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA)
    • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
