CIS needs a strong Scrum Master to lead self-organizing and self-managing teams in applying and optimizing Agile practices to maximize team performance. This role will provide support to CIS teams with a focus on Engineering & Solution Delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates all of the Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, planning meetings, daily stand-up, retrospectives, demos)
  • Assists MT/Technical Lead/Product Owner in managing backlog to ensure proper prioritization
  • Tracks and communicates metrics, status, program/project needs to team, management, and any impacted stakeholders
  • Helps to identify, remove and/or escalate roadblocks and cross functional dependencies that interfere with team’s ability to deliver commitments
  • Accountable for promoting continuous improvement by coaching the team to use metrics to identify and measure progress
  • Helps team focus on delivery of high-quality stories on a predictable, sustainable cadence
  • Participates in Scrum of Scrum and Program Team meetings
  • Provides training/guidance for Agile skills development as needed by team

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-year work experience with previous experience supporting teams
  • Experience working with Agile or similar methodology (LEAN, Kanban, XP Programming) preferred
  • Technology/security experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication, as well as information-seeking skills
  • Relevant certification in field preferred (PSM I, CSM, PMI-ACP, SCM, ASM, etc)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excel
