Sr. Product Analyst – Client Technology – Position Description

The Client.net Manage // Invoices team needs a strong Product Analyst who will assist the Product Owner in ensuring customer needs are being met. As a Product Analyst you will work closely with Product Owner and agile team members to ensure the work is clear and defined.

Responsibilities

  1. Be a Product advocate; can describe the Product, its value, how it works, how it is adopted, speak to upcoming changes and tailor the information to the audience
  2. Understand the Product Roadmap and use knowledge of future features to improve current stories and tests
  3. Assist in customer adoption through personal interaction and written documentation
  4. Identify, escalate and remove roadblocks, triage defects, and provide clarity from customers on issues where appropriate
  5. Work directly with customers and team members to capture details of Feature requirements, understand use cases, collect samples, and find tests; apply knowledge of Product and business drivers to enhance work
  6. Write and refine stories for clarity, business value, and acceptance criteria with guidance from Product Management
  7. Work with Team to translate any internal "Enablers" into value driven stories
  8. Assess, provide input and potential improvements to Product Owner on impact to business partners' current processes and their current use of the Product
  9. Conduct feature mapping, gap analysis, data flow to help assess business implications of feature, tool, or platform
  10. Conduct analysis to determine how features are performing, level of customer satisfaction, and provide suggestions for improvements
  11. Highlight risks, escalate impacts and assist in analyzing possible solutions for complex issues
  12. Conduct Product demos

Skills

  1. In-depth understanding of the Agile principles and methodologies and how they’re applied in workplace culture
  2. Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
  3. Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
  4. Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
  5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  6. Excellent communication, collaboration, team dynamics, and conflict resolution
  7. Experience working with internal and external customers
  8. Sufficient understanding of technology systems and the ecosystem the team works in to help team in overcoming roadblocks
  9. Proven presentation and facilitation skills
  10. Knowledge and hands-on creation of key artifacts including use cases, user stories, user acceptance criteria, configuration stories, or specifications
  11. Experience working on eCommerce systems preferred

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, with minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  2. Experience working with Agile teams
  3. Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, Jira or VersionOne preferred
  4. Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, LEAN, Kanban, XP Programming etc.
