Essential Job Responsibilities: 

1. Exercise basic project management activities 
• Develop plans and manage to delivery dates 
• Identify and track risks and issues 
• Perform risk mitigation planning 
• Manage stakeholder expectations 
• Plan and facilitate meetings 
• Report status and metrics 

2. Effectively manage a portfolio of initiatives through self-motivation and decisive actions operating under general supervision with substantial latitude for independent actions and/or decisions 

3. Support the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) 
• As a steward for compliance and governance 
• As a resource for teams 
• As a custodian of metrics for the development teams to show the health of projects 

4. Encourage the teams in Agile adoption and best practices. 

5. Manage projects proactively and assertively, ensuring goals and milestones are met by rigorous follow through, clear thinking, and being unafraid to ask challenging questions. 


Responsibilities: 

Act as a responsible, articulate, and motivated Project Manager who can quickly identify vulnerabilities and obstacles, and then create innovative solutions to drive success. Collect data and work with assigned resources to identify potential areas of improvement. Based on internal feedback, work with management to develop strategy for gaining operational efficiencies and increasing customer satisfaction. Ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote a shared vision and actively manage to expected project outcomes. Proactively communicate project progress on an on-going basis, ensuring transparency throughout project lifecycle. Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions.

Required Qualifications: 

• 5 years of experience working in an Agile development or software production environment managing projects and deployments 
• Experience with software/product development lifecycle (SDLC/PDLC) 
• Knowledge of (experience desired) software application deployments and promotion into development, testing, and production environments 
• Knowledge of (experience desired) Enterprise Agile methodology and concepts 
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence change, build consensus, and achieve objectives across functional teams 
• Solid decision-making and communication skills, both oral and written, to communicate status, key issues and resolution in manner appropriate to the audience 
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, TFS, and/or VersionOne 
• Technically competent with various software programs including, but not limited to MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
