Essential Functions/Responsibilities: 

• Lead development of reporting and analytical capabilities for different supply chain operations functions partnering with subject matter experts and technical teams. This includes creating business requirements for data needs, validation of data sets, and developing functional reporting, KPIs, and dashboards/scorecards to support execution of daily responsibilities and monitoring of key metrics. 

• Drive business results and outcomes focused on brand, region, and omni-channel providing multi-disciplined analytics and recommendations for KPI improvement and potential business process changes. Provide analysis to determine how key KPIs are tracking to goals. Key areas include the following: 
o Inventory Utilization and Optimization 
o Revenue Forecasting 
o Demand vs. Supply Planning 
o Logistics 
o Distribution 
o Supply Chain Strategy 
o Customer Fulfilment and Delivery 
o Product Lifecycle Planning 

• Provide analytical insights to support monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables including Global Inventory & Corporate Forecast reviews, Executive and Brand S&OP meetings, Quarterly Business Review (QBR), Board meetings etc. 

• Lead cross functional projects across the business to effectively drive change in revenue, service, and cost. Possess a thorough understanding of the up-stream and the down-stream processes and high-level systems flow in order to determine the impact of process changes. Provide leadership in determining gaps and opportunities in the effectiveness of regional and/or global planning and operations systems and processes. 

Secondary Functions: 

• This role could act as a regional lead for North America, Europe, or Asia which would require supporting local supply chain operations teams with their regional deliverables, priorities, and initiatives.

• Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed. Use statistical modelling to provide analytics across the supply chain. Examples of modelling could include linear regression, probability distributions and forecasting based on statistical models. Provide recommendations to leadership based on modelling output. 

• When needed, ensure a smooth transition of use to other employees within the department through documentation such as SOPs/written instructions and training. 

As a senior level analyst this person should: 
• Demonstrate a high level of operational understanding, systems expertise, and ability to handle complex issues and analysis. 
• Be a functional and technical “super user” for their team. 
• Lead, provide training, and drive projects that support business evolution. 

Job Scope: 
Usually works with minimal supervision and may consult with higher level professionals on unusual matters. Contributes to complex projects and carries out assignments independently. 

Solves moderately complex problems, and develops creative solutions based on the evaluation of multiple options. Impact is defined by the ability to influence decisions through expertise. 

Leadership/Supervision: 
May provide guidance to lower level professional staff, but has no formal supervisory responsibility. 

Interpersonal Contacts: 
Interactions with others focus on information exchange and problem solving. Contacts may share confidential/sensitive company information. Communication often involves subjects of a technical nature. Incumbent usually initiates contacts on his/her own with 50% being by phone/email and the remainder via face-to-face interaction. 

Key business partners include: Brand leaders, Executive team, Regional/Global Planning, Finance/Accounting, Logistics, Distribution, Account Operations, and Information Technology. 

Specific Job Skills: 
Required: 
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills. 
• Experience in key supply chain and operations functions including demand planning, production planning, manufacturing, inbound and outbound logistics, and distribution. 
• Experience with development of visuals and dashboards/scorecards using PowerBI or Tableau. 
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
• Proactive and assertive in follow-through with colleagues and business partners. 
• Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitoring of own work to ensure quality. 
• Strong collaboration and influence skills. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise business communication. 
• Ability to handle highly confidential materials and information. 
• Ability to understand and translate moderately technical concepts verbally and in writing. 
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent requests/inquiries with minimal supervisory involvement. 
• Experience using Microsoft Access and Cognos including running preformatted reports and creating simple queries. 

Desired:

• Apparel/footwear industry experience 
• Previous work with other cultures in a business setting, and awareness of and sensitivity to cultural differences. 
• Experience in statistical modelling within the supply chain operations. 
• Project management experience 

Education: 
Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience. Supply Chain Operations, Business Analytics, Finance, or Mathematics preferred. MBA and analytics certificates beneficial. 

Experience/Knowledge: 
Requires 5-8 years of professional experience and mastery of relevant technical or business skills required to accomplish the job. Advanced knowledge within Supply Chain Management and related areas and experience with multiple functional disciplines. Specialized knowledge of industry standards/ practices to projects and initiatives. 

Job Conditions: 
Job requires hours that may occasionally exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during times of peak activity. Evening meetings and/or weekend work occasionally required to collaborate with people in other time zones and to ensure timely project completion. Some job pressure exists in the balancing of several projects with conflicting and sometimes changing deadlines. 

The ability to sit for extended periods and to bend, kneel, and stoop. Ability to operate telephones and computer hardware and software, including keyboard and 10-key. Physical capability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. 

Exposure to a computer CRT. 


Ability to travel approximately 5-10% of the time.
