Program Manager Duties and Responsibilities

Every successful team at Client needs a brilliant game plan – with our plan to elevate operational excellence across the Chief Administrative Office (CAO). The Strategy and Operations team works to drive increased efficiency; amplify predictability and consistency in our strategic and business planning processes; and deliver on opportunities with the biggest impact across the CAO and Client.  

As an integral part of the Global Strategy and Operations team, the Enterprise Contract Management (ECM) Program Manager will work across the global groups and functions to develop and execute a comprehensive program management strategy including creating and maintaining project plans and facilitating execution of those plans with the ECM project team.

Key Responsiblities:

  • Facilitate effective collaboration of project contributors across the ECM program and in order to deliver efficient and timely project delivery by creating program controls and goverance standards
  • Integrate and manage the program timeline by identifying all project internal & external interdependencies
  • Formulate and drive actionable recommendations in order to solve complex problems
  • Serve as the liason between the ECM program and other enterprise iniatives, sharing the program objectives, timelines, risks and dependencies
  • Perform risk and issue management at the project level and proactively identify and analyze patterns and gaps to keep the ECM Program on track
  • Apply project management principles and PMO practices to ensure consistency and quality of project management and portfolio
  • Formulate and drive actionable recommendations in order to solve complex problems
  • Act as a point of escalation when project issues arise

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ previous experience in program management, project management or related field and demonstrated mastery of fundamental program and project management skills
  • Consistent track record of success driving complex global projects
  • Proven ability to influence others, at multiple levels of the organization, from entry-level employees to executives, able to build consensus and drive key decisions
  • Proven ability to successfully navigate and get things done within a large highly matrixed and complex organization
  • You have excellent communication skills (building presentations, editing, and writing) with proven experience leading discussions with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated experience working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others

Skills:

10 years professional experience 7 years project/program management experience delivering global or multiple regional projects experience with formal project management methodology
