Centizen’s team evaluated the clinic’s infrastructure and current patient management workflows. We identified critical gaps in scheduling, inventory tracking, and communication. A roadmap was created for building a centralized, mobile-first platform.

Weeks 3–5

A full-stack application was developed using Angular and Node.js, hosted on AWS with PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Core modules included:

  • Doctor Discovery & Scheduling: Real-time calendar integration (Google/Outlook) with rescheduling alerts and availability tracking.
  • EMR & Patient History: Configurable templates, chart-based lab result visualization, auto-alerts for abnormal values.
  • In-App Communication: Secure messaging and video consultation via Twilio API, replacing phone calls and emails.
  • Pharmacy & Lab Automation: Barcode-based stock management, auto-order generation, lab result uploads with status tracking.
  • Billing Integration: Stripe-enabled billing with pre/post consultation options, wallet tracking, discounts, and due reminders.
  • Security & Compliance: Full HIPAA compliance, encrypted record storage, and FHIR-based APIs for interoperability.
