Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last Updated: 02/06/2025

Centizen Inc. respects your privacy rights. This page explains how you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

1. Your Right to Opt Out

California privacy law gives California residents the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

Centizen does not sell personal information for money. However, some website technologies, analytics tools, advertising tools, or third-party pixels may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law if they disclose identifiers, internet activity, or similar information to third parties for advertising, analytics, or cross-context behavioral advertising.

2. How to Opt Out

You may opt out in any of the following ways:

  1. Click “Cookie Preferences” in the website footer and turn off Marketing Technologies, Analytics Technologies, Functional/Chat Technologies, and Embedded Content technologies that are not strictly necessary.
  2. Click “Reject Non-Essential” on the cookie banner.
  3. Send an email to “contact@centizen.com” with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share Request.”
  4. Enable Global Privacy Control in your browser or browser extension.

3. Global Privacy Control

Where required by applicable law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device sending the signal.

4. What Happens After You Opt Out

After you opt out, we will not sell or share your personal information unless you later authorize us to do so.

Your opt-out choice may be stored in a cookie or local storage on your browser. If you clear cookies, use a different browser, or use a different device, you may need to submit your preference again.

5. Necessary Technologies

Your opt-out request does not disable technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the website, provide security, remember your privacy choices, prevent fraud, or process information you submit through forms.

6. Authorized Agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. We may request information to verify that the agent is authorized to act for you.

7. No Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
