AWS STS to re-iterate secure & accessible resources

Background

An independent marketing organization with global presence, was looking for a way to access their resources to work with from any location at any time in a more secured fashion and on any device. Although Cloud Security has been a debatable topic for quite sometime their use

Challenge

The client needed a secure way to access business-critical/sensitive data in a more seamlessly manner. However this was a challenge as different employees from different locations of an MNC can have the same level of access yet may vary in nature based on their locations and services.

Centizen Solution

The client was already using Citrix for reports and handling contents to publish. We integrated this to a cloud-base that could yield reliable, scalable and hassle-free reports. We explained the benefits of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the client was OK with them as it address their major concerns for security and seamless delivery. To implement this on a global framework even more securely we included AWS Security Token Service (STS) a web service that enables you to request temporary, limited-privilege credentials for AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) users or for users that you authenticate (federated users).
